When we use the MetaTrader trading platform, each trader can have their preferences when configuring their workspaces or analyzing the different groups of instruments to face the market more efficiently. This article will explain how to create different profiles in MetaTrader.
How can I create a profile on MetaTrader?
Creating a workspace profile in MetaTrader can be useful since it allows you to obtain more organization when tracking the different markets or groups of preferred instruments. To create a profile in MetaTrader please follow the following steps:
In the “Default” folder, open the windows of the graphics you want to work within your new workspace. In the following example, we will open the charts of EURUSD, GBPUSD, SP500, GERMANY40, and GOLD;
After opening these charts, you can establish your saved templates with your settings or perform new analyses in each;
Once the previous step is completed, click “Default” and select the “Save template” option, and the system will ask you to enter a name. In this case, for example, we will put “my markets”;
Once accepted, the profile's name reflected at the bottom of the platform will no longer be "Default" but "My markets." If we click the button again, we will see that this profile will now be available in the list of existing work profiles.
If you want to create another new work profile, return to the previous “Default” profile and follow the steps described above;
Once you have created several profiles, you can switch from one workspace to another by clicking on a new profile, and automatically, all the graphics will be changed, leaving all the information saved.
