How to run MetaTrader on Mac

Modified on Tue, 4 Feb at 2:31 PM

Some Mac computers may have issues installing MetaTrader 4/5 because the platform was initially built for Windows. However, there are several options available to resolve this:

Using MetaQuotes instructions: MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 were developed by MetaQuotes. If you encounter difficulties, you can refer to their official instructions:

Alternative options: If the instruction does not resolve your issue, you can use WebTrader, which allows you to trade directly from your browser, bypassing the need to install MetaTrader on your Mac. You can also trade directly from the Dashboard on our site using the Admirals platform, which offers an intuitive design.

We also offer Parallels Pro. With a Parallels Pro account, you can run powerful systems, use multiple virtual environments simultaneously, and access 24/7 support via phone and email. Conditions apply – for more details, please visit the Parallels page on our website: Parallels for Mac.

Virtual Private Server (VPS) service: Another option is our VPS service, which allows you to run MetaTrader anywhere, anytime, and on any device. This is ideal for Mac users or anyone who wants to trade on the go, regardless of the device. Conditions apply – for more details, please visit the VPS page on our website: Forex VPS.

Please note: Some of these options may be unavailable depending on the operational company you are registered with.
